Sitemaps are an important aspect to your blog because they provide the necessary information to assit with search engines finding and crawling your sites. We all know how important that is to any blog whether you have a new one or an old blog.

Completing and implementing a sitemap will not even take you longer than two minutes and even that may be exaggerating!

Now get and implement your SITEMAP in 3 easy Steps

 

1. Enter your sites URL into space provided

 

 

2. Hit the "GENERATE SITEMAP" button

 

3. Copy and paste your Sitemap into your blog

 

Go to "SETTINGS" on the left hand side of your Blogger dashboard.

 

Under "SETTINGS" go to "SEARCH PREFERENCES" and under the CRAWLER AND INDEXING section, click on "CUSTOM ROBOTS TXT - EDIT"

 

 

Then simply paste your Sitemap details from the Sitemap Generator and hit the "SAVE CHANGES" button.

 

There you go, you have now successfully added a sitemap to your blog. Good luck with all the traffic you're going to receive from all the search engines crawling your sites...
